1Choose a filtering goal

Choose the kind of hostname traffic you want to reduce. Each goal maps to explicitly named source categories.

In AdGuard Home, ||example.org^ covers the domain and its subdomains. That is broader than an exact hostname entry and may catch more false positives.

Strength adds source categories. It does not promise stronger protection: broader lists can also produce more false positives.
